Yes, it's true! Along with the new illustrated covers, the interiors of The War Brides of Adrik books are getting an update as well. With aged parchment texturing done to the top outside corners of the chapter headers, character icons at POV changes and new fonts, the hard copies of the books will be as beautiful on the inside as they will be on the outside!
The new formatting will be going into effect the same day as the new covers, giving the whole series a much-needed facelift. For War Queen, that will be August 31, 2024 and for War Mistress that will be September 28, 2024. War Maiden will be launching on October 4, 2024 with its illustrated cover and new formatting. This will be the standard of the series going forward, so look forward to that.
This is not a new edition of the book, however. None of the actual content is changing, just the look of it, so you'll be able to order the new cover/formatting from the old listing on Amazon here when it goes into effect.
So, if you've been meaning to grab a copy with the old formatting so that you have both formats, do it quick! Once the new formatting goes into place, the old format/cover will be gone forever.
